Another Sunday

My night wasn't very restful...I don't know why but I kept waking up and so I didn't feel very refreshed and ready for the day when 8 o'clock came around. I decided to get up at a decent time today so I could get as much done as possible. I ate breakfast, studied and got my lesson ready before I went to church so it did turn out to be a productive morning.

The kids in my class were pretty good today... either they were more well-behaved than usual or I'm getting used to how crazy they are. I think it's a combination. We learned about how praying is our way to communicate with Heavenly Father today, very similar to every other lesson we have...they're all teaching the same basic principles I guess! The kids had fun drawing mustaches on their coloring sheets of two little kids praying. Or as they would say, mustAWches, with a British accent. I remembered to bring my camera today so I could have a picture with them, a couple of the girls are missing but these are my kids! I've realized that although my calling as the primary teacher has been frustrating a lot, I'm going to miss teaching them. I've grown to love how crazy they are and the funny things they say.

The walk through the park gets shorter every week with the warm weather. I love it. I walked home alone and it was so nice. I needed that time. It was the perfect day to be outside and there were some people who were having sailboat races on the pond.

Now I'm back in the centre, away from the sun, and have been studying for my religion exam I have to take by midnight tonight. I'm going to skype my mom in a few minutes since it's that time on Sunday, and then it's dinner, a fireside and packing for Paris...because we leave in the morning! The past few weeks have gone by so quickly, and the next will go by even faster I'm sure. I won't think about the next few weeks though, I have enough to keep me busy for tonight.
